Parent Teacher Organization Fundraiser
Each year, the Melinda Webb School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) hosts a raffle fundraiser. The money raised is used directly to support events and activities for all MWS students such as the Fall and Spring Festivals and special event days throughout the school year. While the raffles contain big ticket items donated by sponsors in our community, we depend on small filler items to make the raffle baskets more fun and appealing!
We ask that you consider making a contribution to make the raffle fundraiser a great success. Families have the option to contribute specific items that fit the theme of our baskets using the "Signup Genius" link or contribute a small monetary donation that the PTO will use to purchase additional items for the baskets.
This year's basket themes are:
- Master Chef - The basket contains a voucher for a cooking lesson for 2 adults for "Cooking with a Twist." We are looking for food related items such as a cook book, spices or seasonings, unique kitchen gadgets, yummy treats or cooking ingredients.
- Hop Around Houston - The basket contains 4 passes to the Houston Children's Museum. We are looking to add other items that are representative of Houston or Texas such as Buccee's snacks/gear, NASA memorabilia, or passes for other activities in Houston.
- Rainy Day - The basket contains a gift card to Mad Potter for pottery painting fun! We are looking for items that make for family friendly fun, such as arts and craft kits, movie night items, or board games/puzzles.
- Pamper Me Pretty - The basket contains Kendra Scott Jewelry (necklace and earrings set). We are looking to add beauty or skincare items, relaxation accessories, or a gift card to a local coffee shop or restaurant.
- King's Kit - The basket contains a voucher for 10 drink tickets and a table at Axelrad Beer Garden. We are looking to add lottery scratch off tickets, barware/spirits, or sports memorabilia.
Contributions will be accepted through Friday, March 28, 2025. Please note the raffle themes and basket items are subject to change depending on the collected contributions.
