The nationally renowned Texas Hearing Institute, formerly known as The Center for Hearing and Speech, is the most comprehensive resource for pediatric hearing loss in Texas and the only facility in the region that offers health services and spoken language education for children with hearing loss – all under one roof. Children from more than 44 counties and all socioeconomic levels come to Texas Hearing Institute, where no child is turned away, regardless of their family’s ability to pay.

Audiology Department
The Audiology Department at Texas Hearing Institute uses the latest state-of-the-art testing technology to diagnose hearing loss, and works with families to develop individualized plans – in a welcoming and kid-friendly environment.

Speech Therapy Services
At Texas Hearing Institute, our Speech Therapy Services include comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy for children with hearing loss from birth to 21 years of age.

The Melinda Webb School
The Melinda Webb School offers a top-tier program for children age 18 months to 6 years old whose families want them to receive individualized instruction that will accelerate their development of spoken language and prepare them for the future.

SUCCESS STORIES
Logan was diagnosed with CHARGE syndrome, a rare genetic condition, and spent four months in the NICU before undergoing five surgeries. After Logan was fitted with bilateral hearing aids at the Texas Hearing Institute, she experienced a special moment that changed her and her family's journey forever.
